Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene), abbreviated PEDOT, is one of the most outstanding electroactive polymers, whose applications cover a wide range of fields from biomedicine to electronic components. In this work the physicochemical properties of nanoconstructs obtained by growing PEDOT chains over steel surfaces are investigated.
