Resum
A control scheme for Squirrel Cage Induction Generator (SCIG) based wind turbine cluster (or entire wind farm) connected by means of a single high voltage direct current-Voltage Source Converter (VSC-HVDC) is presented. The proposed scheme extends the SCIG vector control of a single wind turbine with a full power converter to a whole wind turbine cluster with a single power converter calculating and regulating the optimal wind turbine cluster electrical frequency.
