In this paper we report the characterization of metal–polymer nanocomposites prepared by a novel simple route based on Polymer Stabilized Metal Nanoparticles (PSMNPs) inter-matrix synthesis. This route is focused on the use of functionalized polymeric membranes for the synthesis and characterization of both PSMNPs and the nanocomposite obtained.
