Fault-controlled hydrothermal dolomitization of the Late Aptian to earliest Albian Benassal Fm shallow water carbonates resulted in the seismic-scale stratabound dolostone geobodies that characterize the Benicàssim case study (Maestrat Basin, E Spain).
