    Aunque el término domótica no es absolutamente desconocido son muchos los casos en que, de forma despectiva, se haasociado este término a una tecnología complicada yde lujo, que intenta hacer la vida más fácil en las viviendas y edificiospero que, al final, no funciona.Los fabricantes han dedicado grandes esfuerzos para mejorar sus productos considerando que, hoy en día desde el puntode vista tecnológico, estas tecnologías son maduras. Se ha formado a los instaladores quienes cada vez están másfamiliarizados con las nuevas tecnologías y quienes en un salto generacional ya las dominan, de forma necesaria, pasandode instalar simples elementos electromecánicos en las viviendas (interruptores, enchufes, protecciones, etc.) a programarsistemas electrónicos más complejos, evolución necesaria para adaptarse a un mercado cada vez más competitivo y pordesgracia, menos amplio y castigado por efecto de la crisis en la que estamos actualmente inmersos.Otros esfuerzos menos conocidos y probablemente más importantes que los anteriores han sido los numerosos trabajosrealizados para reglamentar y normalizar esta tecnología con el objetivo último de crear un mercado rentable.Este tipo de de acciones permiten definir correctamente qué se entiende por domótica (y otras acepciones similares) ycómo debe definirse e instalarse para que el usuario disfrute con garantías de esta tecnología. Se han definido susutilidades ya no solamente dirigidas al lujo o lo que hoy llamamos con mayor precisión "confort" sino aquellas que hacenreferencia a la seguridad, las comunicaciones y la gestión energética. ..Este documento pretende mostrar los trabajos que el autor ha realizado/participado y que han servido para definir,normalizar y regular, y que finalmente contribuyen a desarrollar este sector.

    mprovements in torque at low currents using a rotor with spiral sheets are analyzed. Several rotors and stators have been built combining different constructive and mechanical characteristics of the related elements : inertias, constructive materials, geometrical shapes of the sheets and geometrical disposition of the sheets . These different types of motors have been simulated using computer aided tools and then tested in the laboratory. Finally, four stators (1000, 1500, 1500-type A, and 3000 rpm) with the same constructive parameters, have been simulated and tested with the following rotors types: solid rotor, solid rotor with diamagnetic rings, drag cup, and simple and double squirrel cage rotor; the results have been compared to those obtained with the seven variants of spiral sheet rotor presented in this paper.

    En esta tesis se hacen contribuciones al control de los motores de reluctancia autoconmutados (switched reluctance motors) de potencias comprendidas entre 0.25 y 10 kW. En primer lugar, después de una breve introducción histórica, se ubica al motor de reluctancia autoconmutado en el contexto de los accionamientos eléctricos y se analiza su constitución, modelo y principio de funcionamiento. A continuación se hace una relación de sus ventajas e inconvenientes, de sus principales aplicaciones comerciales así como de sus expectativas futuras. En segundo lugar, tras un breve repaso sobre el estado del arte del control de los motores de reluctancia autoconmutados se estudian y comparan las distintas estructuras de los convertidores estáticos utilizados en este tipo de accionamientos y se hace una descripción de las distintas alternativas utilizadas para la detección de las corrientes y de la posición rotórica/velocidad. Seguidamente se presentan las distintas estrategias de control que se pueden aplicar, al control de par medio, en los motores de reluctancia autoconmutados y se describen las distintas posibilidades de implementación de las citadas estrategias de control.En tercer lugar, se presenta un accionamiento para motor de reluctancia autoconmutado de bajo coste que permite regulación de velocidad y de par con ángulos de conmutación constantes. El control de este accionamiento se ha construido mediante componentes discretos analógicos y digitales. Respecto a los sensores se ha utilizado un único sensor de corriente y el sensor de posición/velocidad se ha construido mediante tres optointeruptores y un disco ranurado. Sobre la base de este accionamiento se ha estudiado la influencia de diferentes estrategias de control construidas principalmente por distintos tipos de reguladores (PWM, histéresis, PWM con regulación de corriente) sobre algunos parámetros característicos de funcionamiento del motor como rendimiento y ruido audible. En cuarto lugar, se presenta una plataforma para el diseño de accionamientos digitales para motores de reluctancia autoconmutados, utilizando como base una placa de control Dspace Ace kit 1104 CLP. Sobre esta plataforma se han desarrollado tres alternativas distintas de control de par medio para SRM a partir de las señales procedentes de tres optointerruptores. La primera consiste un control en línea (online) de los ángulos de inicio y bloqueo de conducción para aplicaciones de velocidad variable, que no requiere del conocimiento de la curvas de magnetización del SRM sino de unos pocos datos del motor. El ángulo de inicio de la conducción se calcula mediante la regla de Bose y el ángulo de bloqueo en base a la teoría del ángulo de bloqueo de Gribble. La segunda alternativa se trata de un control que incluye un bloque optimizador del rendimiento en el cual a partir de los ángulos de inicio y bloqueo de conducción obtenidos con el control antes descrito, se van modificando estos ángulos en línea (online) mediante un algoritmo hasta minimizar la potencia de entrada y por tanto maximizar el rendimiento. En la tercera de las alternativas propuestas se pretende optimizar el rendimiento a partir de una tabla, obtenida experimentalmente, en la que se recogen los ángulos de inicio y de bloqueo de la conducción que minimizan la potencia de entrada del accionamiento para distintas zonas de funcionamiento, con márgenes de velocidad previamente establecidos. Se ha realizado, además, una comparación del rendimiento entre los resultados obtenidos aplicando distintas alternativas de control digital con el que se obtiene con un accionamiento con motor de inducción alimentado con un equipo comercial de control vectorial. Se ha estudiado, también, la influencia de las distintas alternativas de control digital que optimizan el rendimiento sobre el rizado del par y el ruido audible.Finalmente se relacionan las aportaciones realizadas, se presentan las conclusiones finales y se apuntan futuras líneas de trabajo.

    In this thesis contributions are made to the Electronic Control of the Switched Reluctance Motors (SRM) to a given margin of power between 0.25 -10 kW.Following a brief historical introduction to SRM's, the SRM is placed in the context of the electric drives, its constitution, its model, and afterward its principles of operation are then analyzed. Following this a relationship between its advantages and drawbacks are then carried out along with its commercial applications and future expectations.Secondly, after a brief review on the state-of-the-art of SRM controls, several structures of power converter used in these types of drives are studied. Then different alternatives to the current and position/speed sensing are described. Subsequently, the different control strategies, likely to be applied to the average torque in SRM, are presented as well as the different implementing possibilities to the afore-mentioned control strategies.Thirdly, a low-cost drive of the SRM which permits regulation of speed with constant commutation angles is proposed. The control of this drive has been built by means of analogical and digitally discrete components. With respect to the sensors, a single current sensor has been used and the position/speed sensor has been build by means of three optical-interrupters and a slotted disc. Regarding the basics of this drive, we have studied how some motor parameters such as efficiency and acoustic noise have been influenced by the different strategies of control which were mainly built by different types of regulators (Pulse-Width Modulation PWM, Hysteresis, PWM with current regulation) with some characteristic parameters focusing on the motor's operation, such as efficiency and acoustic noise.Fourth, a platform is presented for a design of the digital SRM drives by using as a base the Dspace Ace kit 1104 CLP. On this platform, three distinct alternative averaging torque controls have been developed for SRM starting from the signals coming from three optical-interrupters. The first alternative consists of an online control of the turn-on and turn-off angles for variable speed applications which does not depend on curves of magnetization but on a few parameters of the motor. The turn-on angle is calculated through Bose's law and the turn-off angle is calculated through Gribble's turn-off angle theory. The second alternative consists of a control that includes a performance turn off optimizer in which starting from the turn-on and turn-off conduction obtained from the aforementioned control modifying itself online by means of an algorithm in order to minimize input power and maximize performance. The third alternative tries to maximize efficiency from a table, experimentally obtained, which picks up the turn-on and turn-off angles minimizing the drive input power in distinct operational zones with margins of speed pre-established. An efficiency and electrical consumption comparison between the results obtained applying different digital control alternatives and with a commercial vector-controlled induction motor drive of the same size is included. The influence of different digital control alternatives that optimize efficiency on torque ripple and acoustic noise is also studied.Finally, all the contributions were brought together, final conclusions presented and a summary of future lines of work offered.

    Since the last quarter of the last century, and due to the spectacular increment of the connection of electronic loads to the electric system, it has been extraordinarily increased the existence of non-sinusoidal currents with high content of harmonics. This fact, in comparison to our environment, is named "electric pollution".The presence of these electronic loads is given in all power levels, from hundreds of VA until some MVA and, although the problem is increased with the installed power, it is not negligible the effect achieved by the accumulation of many loads of small power. Due to this fact specific power quality standards have been imposed.The conventional filter techniques, based on passive filters installation tuned at the supposed harmonics in the plant, became inadequate due to the variability in the value and content of the same ones throughout the time. The present PhD thesis is dedicated to the study of the current techniques for the elimination of those harmonics, and also the conventional reactive energy, by means of Active Power Filters based on the use of static power converters and specific control algorithms.After exposing the mains theories on the instantaneous power in the electric systems, and their application to the compensation techniques of harmonic and reactive energy by means of Active Power Filters, improvements are contributed in the application of those theories consistent in the simplification of the same ones based on the exclusive consideration of the active instantaneous power, as a really physical concept and easily measurable.In particular it is considered of special interest, for their simplicity and excellent results, the so called Simplified General Theory of the Instantaneous Power. This theory is applicable to one-phase as well as three-phase systems with or without neutral conductor.Analogical and digital prototypes of control have been built, based on the exposed theories, with experimental results that confirm the validity of the same ones.An industrial prototype of a Active Power Filter of 40kVA of compensation power has also been built, whose control is based in Simplified General Theory of the Instantaneous Power, and experimental results in laboratory demonstrate the excellent behaviour even with electronics loads whose Total Harmonic Distortion of current (THDi) exceeds 70%. This THDi is reduced below values of 5%.

    Desde el último cuarto del pasado siglo, y debido al espectacular incremento de la conexión de cargas electrónicas al sistema eléctrico, se ha incrementado extraordinariamente la existencia de corrientes no senoidales con alto contenido de armónicos, apareciendo lo que, por similitud con el entorno medioambiental, se denomina "polución eléctrica."La presencia de estas cargas electrónicas se da en todos los niveles de potencia, desde centenas de VA hasta algunos MVA y, aunque el problema se agrava con la potencia instalada, no es por ello despreciable el efecto provocado por la acumulación de muchas cargas de pequeña potencia, hasta tal punto que el contenido de armónicos ha debido ser regulado por normas específicas.Las técnicas convencionales de filtrado, basadas en la instalación de filtros pasivos sintonizados con los armónicos supuestamente presentes, resultan inadecuadas debido a la variabilidad en el valor y contenido de los mismos a lo largo del tiempo.El presente trabajo de tesis está dedicado al estudio de las técnicas actuales para la eliminación de esos armónicos, y también de la energía reactiva convencional, mediante técnicas de Filtrado Activo de Potencia (FAP), basadas en la utilización de Convertidores Estáticos de Potencia y algoritmos de control específicos.Después de exponer las principales teorías sobre la potencia instantánea en los sistemas eléctricos, y su aplicación a las técnicas de compensación de armónicos y energía reactivamediante FAP, se aportan mejoras en la aplicación de esas teorías, consistentes en la simplificación de las mismas basadas en la consideración exclusiva de la potencia activa instantánea, como concepto de indudable sentido físico y fácilmente medible.En particular se considera de especial interés, por su simplicidad y excelentes resultados, la denominada Teoría General de la Potencia Instantánea Simplificada (TGPIS), de aplicación tanto a sistemas monofásicos como a trifásicos, con o sin neutro.Se han construido prototipos de control analógico y digital, basados en las teorías expuestas, con resultados experimentales que confirman la validez de las mismas.También se ha construido un prototipo industrial de un FAP de 40kVA de potencia de compensación, cuyo control está basado en la TGPIS, sobre el que se han realizado ensayos de laboratorio a potencias del orden de 15kVA, con resultados que demuestran su excelente comportamiento, incluso ante cargas cuya Distorsión Armónica Total de corriente (THD) excede el 70%, que queda reducida a valores inferiores al 5%.
