Resum
The tolerance to contact damage of polycrystalline diamond (PCD) composites is investigated. Three different PCD grades are considered. Contact damage is extrinsically introduced by spherical indentation techniques, an approach well-established to evaluate damage tolerance issues in other hard materials.
