Recently, power awareness in high performance computing (HPC) community has increased significantly. While CPU power reduction of HPC applications using Dynamic Voltage Frequency Scaling (DVFS) has been explored thoroughly, CPU power management for large scale parallel systems at system level has left unexplored.
