Part II of this series of paper deals with the phenomenology of swelling in tunnels from Jura Mountains (Switzerland) excavated through the Gipskeuper and the Anhydritgruppe. The main features of expansions observed in the presented case studies are summarized and the performance of resisting and yielding support systems is compared.
