The influence of degradation on non-isothermal crystallization from the melt of a segmented copolymer constituted of glycolide and trimethylene carbonate units and used as a bioabsorbable surgical suture was studied by optical microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and time-resolved X-ray diffraction.
