The environmental impact of enzyme bleaching stages applied to oxygen-delignified eucalypt kraft pulp was assessed via the chemical oxygen demand (COD), color, absorbance spectrum, residual enzyme activity and Microtox toxicity of the effluents from a laccase–HBT (1-hydoxybenzotriazole) treatment.
