Information updates

  • When Futur information is updated?
    Any amendment made in DRAC Finestra nova or in other information system (UPCommons Finestra nova, etc), is visible in Futur from next update of the website, which is done weekly.

Researcher's page

  • Who has a researcher's page in Futur?
    All UPC active researchers (lecturers, researchers, trainee researchers and research support staff) with research activities in DRAC Finestra nova.

  • How to complete researcher's personal data?
    Authenticate through the link Sign in from top menu and go to personal corner in researcher profile tab. A form is displayed which allows to modify the following fields:

    • Areas of expertise:
      • Enter keywords, a maximum of 10 and separated by commas.
      • Enter the same keywords in the corresponding 3 languages.

    • h index:
      • Include h index in DRAC Finestra nova (Personal Data> Hirsch index) and, in Futur, mark Yes for "Do you want to publish it in Futur?".

    • Professional category:
      • Futur publishes the information coming from DRAC Finestra nova when the researcher marks Yes for "Do you want to publish it in Futur?".
      • Fill first in DRAC Finestra nova if this information is not included.

    • Doctoral courses:
      • Futur publishes the information coming from DRAC Finestra nova when the researchers mark Yes for "Do you want to publish it in Futur?".
      • Fill first in DRAC Finestra nova if this information is not included.

    • University degree:
      • Futur publishes the information coming from DRAC Finestra nova when the researchers mark Yes for "Do you want to publish it in Futur?".
      • Fill first in DRAC Finestra nova if this information is not included.

    • Postgraduated qualification:
      • Futur publishes the information coming from DRAC Finestra nova when the researchers mark Yes for "Do you want to publish it in Futur?".
      • Fill first DRAC Finestra nova if this information is not included.

    • Associated research bodies:
      • Fill out the form and select one of the options in the dropdown.
      • You can add or remove associated research bodies with the X and + near to the field.

    • ORCID:
      • Fill the identifier in DRAC Finestra nova (Personal Data> Id. ORCID).

    • Researcher ID:
      • Fill the identifier in DRAC Finestra nova (Personal Data> Researcher id).

    • Scopus Author ID:
      • Fill the identifier in DRAC Finestra nova (Personal Data> SCOPUS id).

    • Links:
      • Insert the links following these instructions:
        • You can insert a title and a URL. If there is no title, only the URL is shown.
        • Links are only in one language.
        • You can add or remove links with the X and + near to the field.

    • Collaborative networks:
      • Enter collaborative networks following these instructions:
        • For each network, select an option from the dropdown and enter the profile link in the box near it.
        • You can add or remove links with the X and + near to the field.

    • Picture:
      • Upload an image following these instructions:
        • The attached image should be in JPG or PNG format. Maximum dimensions of 120x120 pixels.
        • If there is a picture, attaching a new one overwrites the old one.
        • To delete the picture, use "Delete current image" located below the control.

  • How to join the Experts guide?
    Authenticate through the link Sign in from top menu and go to personal corner in researcher profile tab. At the bottom, fill the "Experts guide". In this internal and not public section, fill in your contact number and subject area experts Guide. This information is for internal use for the UPC Communication Service. It is highly recommended to add the expertise field and publish a personal image.
