Abstract
The proposal of this work is to show the capabilities of Particles Finite Element Method (PFEM) in the numerical simulation of metal cutting in which large strain and large displacements takes place. In contrast with FEM, PFEM decrease the element distortion that usually appears in a FEM simulation of a finite strain processes.
