Sensor networks are a sensing, computing and communication infrastructure that are able to observe and respond to phenomena in the natural environment and in our physical and cyber infrastructure. In this paper, we investigate packet loss, routing loss and transport loss in mobile Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) considering AODV protocol and different radio models. We compare the simulation results for different cases using AODV protocol, Two Ray Ground and Shadowing radio models. We found that the packet loss for AODV with Two Ray Ground is lower than AODV with Shadowing when Tr is lower than 50pps. When Tr is larger than 50pps, the packet loss for Shadowing is decreased. The transport loss for AODV with Two Ray Ground is lower than Shadowing. The routing loss for AODV with Two Ray Ground is lower than AODV with Shadowing.
