Abstract
Instability processes at glacial deposits represent an important hazard in mountainous areas. During the spring seasons of 2010 and 2011, two falls of large boulders (18 and 55 m3) initiated in a lateral moraine in the Rebaixader catchment (Central Pyrenees, Spain). Detailed information was gathered due to the debris-flow monitoring system installed along the torrent.
