Abstract
A simple electrical network for a Single Layer Microstrip Patch Antenna (SLMPA) and the feeding structure (coaxial probe and compensating capacitor) is proposed to predict the input impedance. The mathematical analysis allows to design an optimum feed that enhances the impedance bandwidth (BW).
