Abstract
This work presents a predictive direct torque control method for matrix converters fed permanent magnet synchronous machine drives.A new look-up table for direct torque control using matrix converters has been developed. The new look-up table delivers a set of three different vectors, every sample period, that fulfil the torque and flux demands.
