Abstract
The evaluation of shrinkage cracking is important to prevent aesthetic issues and avoid surface cracking that could reduce the durability and sustainability of structures. This paper presents a methodology for quantifying early shrinkage cracking patterns through image analysis. Highly-restrained slabs are placed in a wind tunnel and subjected to demanding environmental conditions.
