Abstract
This brief describes a superregenerative (SR) voltage-controlled oscillator as a building block for SR receivers where most of the oscillator spectrum components are outside the reception frequency band. This allows overcoming one of the main drawbacks of SR receivers, i.e., the potential interference to nearby receivers operating at the same frequency due to oscillator reradiation.
