Abstract
The use of new technologies to track passenger progress in his/her trip contributes to simplify the estimation of dynamic passenger OD matrices. The approach proposed is based on the detection of the electronic signature of on-board devices, providing real-time dynamic data that is treated as measurements in a space-state Kalman filter formulation.
