This work reports the results obtained by the development of two types of nanocomposite membranes containing metal nanoparticles prepared by applying the Intermatrix Synthesis technique for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles in the ion-exchange matrices of sulfonated polyethersulfone-Cardo and Nafion membranes.
