Abstract
We combine direct observations and model calculations to characterize potential sediment resuspension. Waves and currents were monitored during seven months with an ADCP. Near-bed wave orbital velocities and current and wave shear stresses were calculated from measurements and their potential to resuspend bottom sediment was analized.
