Abstract
GNSS-R has two main approaches: conventional and interferometric. The conventional one correlates the direct signal with a locally generated clean replica of the code, so it can only be applied to public codes, which usually have narrower spectrum. The interferometric technique is based on the correlation of the reflected signal against the direct one; allowing thus to take advantage of private codes, which have a wider spectrum.
