Abstract
The reduction of energy consumption is critical in chip removal process. The electropulsing treatments can improve the mahinability of materials by reducing power consumption during cutting. The influence of electroplulses (EPs) in drilling process was analyzed on the power consumption and specific cutting energy (SCE) by using different feed rates, drill diameters and current densities in 7075 aluminium alloy.
