Abstract
Disadvantages of traditional exams have been long time discussed. In particular, exams have been criticized for promoting surface learning. But, if we want to avoid exams, which activities can replace the traditional exam? Some experiences on the elimination of exams have been pointed out, but most of them have been criticized for been implemented with small groups.
