Abstract
Sulfaquinoxaline antimicrobial has been detected on environmental samples and its side effects are still unknown. Degradation of sulfaquinoxaline sodium by Fenton and photo-Fenton processes has not been reported before. Sulfaquinoxaline degradation and the evaluation of the mineralization and toxicity reduction were studied in a laboratory scale and after tested on a pilot plant.
