Abstract
This paper addresses the effects of two main microstrip wearable antennas on the specific absorption rate (SAR) on the human trunk as well as their impact performance in terms of gain, efficiency and required area. Rectangular patch and PIFA jeans wearable antennas intended for wireless body area network applications at 2.45 GHz are under analysis.
