Abstract
We present an approach to quantify the spatial distribution of ryanodine receptors based on regional maxima segmentation and Z-lines segmentation using FFT and posterior clustering in mouse ventricular myocytes. The method provides an excellent performance under different settings, such as synthetic cell models and experimental conditions.
