Abstract
This paper analyzes frequency packing schemes applied to multibeam satellite systems. In order to simulate a realistic scenario we have taken into account the presence of co-channel interference and spectrum limitations. The results show that with low order modulations, e.g. QPSK and 8APSK, the frequency packing schemes outperform in terms of spectral eciency conventional single carrier schemes with high modulation orders up to 32APSK.
