Abstract
In the present work, a dynamic lumped parameter model of the electrochemical and thermal behavior of a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) has been developed. The model is implemented in the MATLAB-Simulink visual programming software. The model was calibrated using experimental data. A strategy is proposed for the thermal management of the stack and a controller is designed to keep the operating temperature of the system constant.
