Abstract
Highlights The climatology of desert dust events over the whole European region is presented. This study is based on the data of BSC-DREAM8b model and other validation tools. AERONET and satellite data are used for validation of the model outputs. The most affected areas are the central sectors, mainly in spring and summertime.
