Abstract
Several problems related to accumulation of pollutants, high water temperatures, harmful algal blooms and alteration of the main physicochemical factors (ie. pH, O2) affects the inland waters of Fangar Bay (Delta Ebre). These factors affects the productivity of bivalves -i.e. water temperatures above 28ºC induces high rates of mussels mortality (Ramón et al., 2005)-.
