Abstract
In this paper, we present a control strategy for the seismic protection of adjacent twin buildings, which combines interbuilding actuation devices with an asymmetrical arrangement of interstory actuators. This kind of hybrid actuation schemes is able to simultaneously reduce the interbuilding approaching and the internal vibrational response of the buildings.
