Abstract
An aluminum alloy 6061 (Al–Mg–Si) in sheet form of 1 mm in thickness was processed both in T0 and T6 state by severe plastic deformation using the repetitive corrugation and straightening (RCS) technique. The microstructure and mechanical properties were characterized at the end of the forming process.
