Two TWIP steel compositions, Fe-22Mn-1.5Si-0.8C (TWIP-0Al) and Fe-22Mn-1.5Al-1.5Si-0.8C (TWIP-1.5Al) have been obtained by mechanical milling of a mixture of Fe, FeSi, FeMn, Al metallic powders and EBS wax. The milled powders were cold compacted and sintered following conventional methods.
