Abstract
Research in Vehicular Ad Hoc NETworks (VANETs) has evolved considerably over the last years. Recently, security in VANETs has appealed special interest in the research community. In this paper we present the main concepts, issues and threats to VANET’s security and conclude that privacy of users is fundamental.
