Abstract
The ECUVal project aims to contribute to the sustainability of the textile sector by means of a new technology able to remove residual dyes from the exhausted dye liquors and washing baths, which are deeply coloured. Then, the ECUVal system can proceed in two ways with the uncoloured effluents: discharge or reconstitution to be reused. Both operation modes were considered in this study.
