Abstract
In this paper authors conduct a study by implementing the use of UVAs in the data collection within the BRAIN framework. The main aim of the contribution is the preliminary approach to determine the conditions of use, and to evaluate the benefits, as well as disadvantages, of this high performance technology as a complement or alternative to the initial method, which is based on visual inspections supported by high resolution digital camera images, for the failures diagnosis of facades.
