Abstract
The main goal of this paper is to present a new strategy to avoid the unstable behavior caused by added mass effects in approaches the involve pressure segregation or staggered techniques in incompressible flows. We will start by partitioning a monolithic fluid-structure interaction scheme using a static condensation of the velocity terms.
