Abstract
Global Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS) Level 3 (L3) soil moisture (SM) products are being routinely distributed by the Barcelona Expert Centre (BEC). The quality and accuracy of these SM products have been demonstrated not only by direct validation, but also by its adoption in a wide range of applications.
