Abstract
Binary mixtures of high-density MX80 bentonite pellets (80% mass ratio at a dry density pd =2.0 Mg/m3) and powder ( pd=1.1 Mg/m3) are currently proposed as engineered barrier system for the long-term disposal of radioactive wastes [1].
