Abstract
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients exhibit depressed heart rate variability (HRV), while comorbidities may worsen the patients’ prognosis. We investigated whether HRV analyis, clinical markers of disease severity and respiratory function, may explain the presence of cardiac-related comorbidities.
