Abstract
In this work, the hydrophobization of lignocellulosic jute fibers was achieved via the laccase/TEMPO-mediated grafting of octadecylamine (OA) on their surface, with the aim to improve the interfacial compatibility with nonpolar polylactic acid (PLA) resins in fiber-reinforced composites.
