Abstract
This project is about the simulation design of an engine control unit (ECU) for an Otto cycle engine with electronic fuel injection (EFI). The simulation includes a model for the ECU as well as physical parameters of the engine, which allows closed-loop control and monitoring of various systems. This simulation has been realized using Simulink and Stateflow, which are components of Mathworks’ MATLAB software.
