Resum
The steady perturbation caused in a longshore flow by a bottom undulation is considered. The bedforms are assumed to be alongshore periodic, with crests in the cross-shore direction and with a small amplitude in order for linear theory to be applicable. The inviscid shallow-water equations are considered in order to investigate topographic resonance, that is, the condition under which the perturbation in the flow reaches a maximum.
