Resum
We report the spontaneous formation of multilayer structures with nanometric periodicity during Ti–C thin-film growth by reactive magnetron sputtering. Their characterization was performed by transmission electron microscopy, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction, and secondary ion mass spectrometry.
